Networks in urban environment
Sidecut (FTTH)
The SIDE CUT machine, a miniaturisation of the CLEANFAST process, is the ideal tool for the installation of fibre optic in an urban environment.
Â
The SIDE CUT process is based on the dry micro-trenching technique with simultaneous vacuuming and storage of the rubble extracted. It provides:
- Sawing depth down to 150 mm
- Sawing width up to 20 mm
- Simultaneous mechanised installation of micro-tubes
- Filling of the cutting with self-placing quick setting mortar
- Loading of the rubble by vacuuming
- A speed of 300 metres per day.
Among the advantages of this tool: the low overall dimensions of the machine, sound-proofing of components, cleanliness of the micro-trench and the work-site, pedestrian traffic continues during work, increased safety in the work-site and preservation of the road construction. Finally, a considerable reduction in the costs of construction.
