SMC 400C
The SMC 400C chain trencher is the ideal tool for making trenches for large diameter networks (telecommunication, electricity, drainage, water, gas, sewerage, etc.) in rural environments.

The SMC 400C is based on a unique Marais chain trenching concept (single or double chains) with two motors. It provides:
- Trench depth down to 2.5 m
- Trench width up to 0.9 m
- Evacuation of rubble material by reversible conveyor belt
- The excavated material is put into a single strip
- High quality trench bottom with a clean trench
- High output due to double motorisation of the trench chain
- Increased ground adhesion due to articulated and independent crawler tracks
- Excavating arms are kept clean by two side scrapers
- Reduction in cost of construction due to constant trench section.
