SMC 500R

The SMC 500R wheel trencher is the ideal tool for making trenches and for simultaneous mechanised installation of networks (telecommunication, electricity, drainage, water, gas, sewage …etc.) in a rural environment and on rocky ground.

The SMC 500R is based on the unique concept of the trenching wheel with Marais tangential drive. It provides:

A trench depth up to 1.55 m
A constant and reduced width of the trench
A constant depth which is very useful for network installation
A speed of 300 to 2 000 ml/day, depending on the ground, the section of the trench and the type of network to be installed.

Among the advantages of this tool: trenching in various sorts of ground, correction of slope with a chassis which provides for vertical trenching on an inclined slope. Finally, it provides a considerable reduction in the cost of construction.
