Ulysse (punching)

The ULYSSE piercing machine is the ideal tool for creating micro-trenches for installation of optical fibre networks on motorways and on express ways, in bituminous concrete.

The ULYSSE process is based on creating a micro-trench by piercing, using a metal disc, the upper layer of the lower sides of the motorway.

It provides:

A piercing depth up to 30 mm
A piercing width up to 10 mm
The simultaneous mechanical installation of a fibre optic cable and a protective seal
Infill using a bituminous hot-flowed filler
A progress speed up to 12,000 ml/day.
